First your wbsite is excellent - easy to navigate and find exactley whats required.

Second when you say including delivery and vat is encouraging even if the total is sligtley above the compitition.

The website of Performance Batteries is extremely easy to use, and it guided me to the correct battery I needed, giving all the necessary and relevant information about the battery without losing me in technical or other mumbo-jumbo. The battery selection guide is perfect. Another pleasant feature is that the price you see for the battery is the price you eventually pay - postage and VAT included, and it is not added on at the last moment. The company promise 24 hour delivery, and they kept this promise even between the Christmas and New Year holidays (despite threatening weather conditions). The only minor improvement to this excellent service could be if the company sent an e-mail confirming the despatch of the order, e.g. "your order has been shipped" (Amazon style). But it was easy to ring the company's customer service to ask about it, and the young lady there was very helpful in allaying my unfounded anxiety. Next time I will know where to get car batteries from, and I will certainly recommend Performance Batteries to friends and family, as this company operate an examplary online service that other internet retailers should copy.
